Endoscopy (UGI)

Endoscopy is a procedure in which flexible rubber tube is passed from mouth to small intestine (duodenum) to analyze mucosa of esophagus , stomach and duodenum.

Colonoscopy

Colonoscopy  is a procedure in which flexible rubber tube with camera attached on one end is passed from anus to examine the large intestine and some part of small intestine .

Variceal Banding

Variceal banding also known as endoscopic variceal ligation in which gastroenterologist passes a flexible tube from mouth and rubber bands are placed on enlarged vein in food pipe ( esophagus ) due to portal hypertension.

Oesophageal dilatation

Peg tube insertion

Peg tube insertion is a process in which soft feeding tube is inserted to initiate feeding in patient in whom patient is not able to take from mouth.
